The following is a brief, up-to-date summary of JA-PARS enhancements. Note that because JA-PARS is an online application, JA-PARS enhancements are available immediately to all users; no downloads are required to ensure that you are using the most up to date version of JA-PARS.
June 7, 2019
JA-PARS was modified to include the following:
- Change “Allow IPCE Credit” field label to “Check here if this is an IPCE activity.”
- The ability to indicate if an activity’s target audience includes optometrists, physician assistants, psychologists, and social workers.
- The ability to indicate the credits/contact hours offered for these specialties.
- Participation numbers for optometrists, physician assistants, psychologists, and social workers.
- Updated reporting functions with the new fields referenced above.
- The ability to search activities using the Universal Activity Number or provider activity ID.
September 9, 2020
JA-PARS was modified to include the following:

- The ability to indicate the credits/contact hours offered for these specialties.
- Participation numbers for dentists and allied dental staff.
